Allison Iraheta performs on So You Think You Can Dance with Orianthi!

Allison Iraheta was the last girl standing during American Idol Season 8. On Thursday evening's So You Think You Can Dance, she stood center stage singing her latest single, "Don't Waste The Pretty."

Joined by guitar sensation Orianthi, Allison Iraheta rocked the So You Think You Can Dance live audience, reminding everyone how she got so far on America's #1-rated talent show. MTV News noted that the performance was "good," but nothing exemplary. There might be a few who would beg to differ...

Although she still showed signs of being the same awkward teen that won over fans two seasons ago on American Idol, there was no sign of awkwardness in her voice. Of course, it was that vocal control that pulled in the votes. She belted out "Don't Waste The Pretty" through her signature raggedy-ann-red hair like a pro, energizing the So You Think You Can Dance crowd. With Orianthi on lead guitar, the two gave a blistering performance.

Adam Lambert's touring partner Allison Iraheta releases new video

For those of you who have been loving Allison Iraheta as the opening act for Adam Lambert's Glam Nation Tour, you're in luck - the red-headed rocker has a brand new music video for "Don't Waste the Pretty".

For those not familiar, the song is a fun, energetic anthem about staying true to yourself and your own personality. It also features a thrilling guitar solo by Orianthi -- who has also served as an opening act for much of the tour.

Allison is now officially joining Adam on the remainder of his tour in the United States, thanks largely to the demand created by some of both her and Adam's fans. Since Lambert openly refers to his fellow former "American Idol" singer as his "little sister", the two have such a chemistry as performers that they compliment each other well on tour.

Adam Lambert talks with Ryan Seacrest about writing new album

On Monday morning Adam Lambert visited one of his old friends -- "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest. The two were in studio together prior to Adam's appearance at the OC Fair, and Adam talked about everything from his tour to his recent drag queen encounter.

First, Adam talked about his experiences on the tour bus:

"The bus driver is amazing ... he cleans the sheets, he takes out the trash. It's amazing. The new bus is amazing. There's a queen-sized bed in the back ... there's a shower, a bathroom."

Adam also spoke out about how his fans are treating him on the tour:

"They're great - they're real sparkly. Everyone's real excited, real passionate. I see a lot of the same faces in the front row, which is great."

One of the cutest moments comes near the end of the interview, where a ten-year old fan calls in to express their adoration to Adam. He also said he is working on his new album abroad.

Adam Lambert talks makeup preparation before concert (video)

Adam Lambert is spending his time rocking out in California right now, and recently just wrapped up two shows in Costa Mesa.

In the midst of all of this, the "American Idol" singer even managed to find time for an interview -- even while he was getting some makeup applied for the big night. Speaking to Yahoo!, Adam had this to say about how he prepares his makeup for a night of entertainment:

"I get to work with a very talented man ... who's insanely creative and we just kind of fly by the seat of our pants ... we just kind of create."

Adam also said that one of the things he likes to have backstage is SmartWater -- for "electrolytes" if nothing else. He then pretends to act like a spokesman for a minute or two. As for much much makeup Adam puts on, he proclaims that it really depends on time.

Allison Iraheta happy in support mode for 'big brother' Adam Lambert

Most American 18-year-olds this summer are packing their bags for college or settling into their first post-high school job.

So is Allison Iraheta - although her job is a little different that most. The magenta-haired rocker, who finished fourth on last year's "American Idol," is touring the country as an opening act for her close friend and fellow "Idol" alumni Adam Lambert.

Since its release in December, Iraheta's debut album, "Just Like You," has sold more than 100,000 copies. Originally booked for only the tour's first half, Iraheta's been so popular with audiences that her contract was extended last week through the end of the Glam Nation tour (also sharing the opening bill is Australian guitarist/singer Orianthi). Iraheta talked about the tour in a phone interview from Portland, Ore., last week.

Q: So how was it you ended up on Adam's tour? Did he ask for you?

We're family, Adam and I, and I think he wanted me to be on the tour, plus we have the same management, so they thought it would be a good fit.

Q: Tell me about your set.

A: We do all the songs on my album and we do one cover, (Pat Benatar's) "Heartbreaker." It gets everyone singing. The highlight of the set is when Orianthi joins me during "Don't Waste the Pretty." She comes out and brings something crazy to the song. When she comes up I have to grow balls because she's so hard-core.

Q: What's your favorite song to perform live?

A: They're all my kids, but I think my favorite is "You Don't Know Me," which I wrote with some awesome writers. "Holiday" is fun, too. My album is a softer version of me in concert. It's definitely a harder sound when I'm doing the live stuff.

Q: You present yourself with a tough exterior. Is there a softer side to you that nobody knows?

A: I'm both. Everyone has a soft side. I'm only human. I can definitely relate to the songs on the album. Who hasn't gone through a breakup or gone through things in life they regret?

Q: The reviews for your album have been good. In fact, one critic called your record "criminally underappreciated" because he said you haven't had the sales or radio airplay you deserve. Do you agree?

A: Someone said that? That's great. What I think is that being in the time we are now and how difficult the music and touring industry is, the fact that I'm on tour right now is fricking awesome. I'm doing good being a new artist and doing my own thing and having people who don't know me get a chance to know me more. I'll keep going. I'm still going.

Q: How are the crowds?

A: This tour is killing. We're doing great. I can't tell you how thankful and excited I am to be added to the whole thing and to be surrounded by so many talented people.

Q: This is your second tour in less than a year. Are there any lessons you've learned since you first hit the road last year?

A: Definitely. I've learned that singing properly fricking works. On last year's "American Idol" tour, I had some ups and downs from screaming too much. I've learned to sing properly and am just trying to work out more, for the breathing, and watch what I eat and drink.

Q: How have you changed as an artist since "Idol"?

A: I've grown as an artist and I've grown as a person. I'm still always going to be the girl who likes to have fun, but I've learned you have to be serious and enjoy the time you've got.

Q: Did you follow "American Idol" this past season and do you think it has much of a future without Simon Cowell?

A: I caught a little bit of it and went to the finale. ... Everyone thinks it will go on, a lot of people still want to watch it, but I'm just so damn thankful I was on the season when they still had Simon and Paula. But change is sometimes good; it might actually work.

Q: You've spent a lot of the past 18 months with Adam. What's your relationship like?

A: He's like a brother to me. From time to time, he'll pop into my dressing room and we talk. We still have that relationship. It's so good and it makes the road so much better. He's still giving me that big-brother advice.

Q: How have you seen Adam change during the past year and a half?

A: Throughout the "Idol" tour experience, he would bring his own thing to it, and now that he's got his own tour and he's doing his own music, I can see a side of Adam that everyone was just getting to know on "Idol." He's letting loose, doing what he wants and definitely growing into who he is.

Q: What's he like behind the scenes? Is he a leader on the tour?

A: This is his tour, so he has to feel comfortable with what's going on. He watches our sets, he talks to us backstage. I feel like he's taken charge. It's so cool to see him do his own thing.

Q: So what's next for you after the tour ends in the fall?

A: Another album. That's the goal for next year. I'm writing stuff now. I'm doing a lot of "goal" writing and writing about life in general. I really like singing about stuff people can relate to. And I'd love to act. I want to see what a cheesy actress I can be. I think that would be a lot of fun.

Adam Lambert's current single, 'If I Had You' up by ten percent with 29,000 sales

Former American Idol finalist, and singer extraordinaire, Adam Lambert is enjoying extreme success -- and he deserves it all. With his highly successful Glam Nation tour, and his debut album, For Your Entertainment going platinum, selling over 1 million copies worldwide, it is no wonder why Lambert recently told Ryan Seacrest that he was happy and that things were great. According to a new report, Lambert's current single, "If I Had You," is doing well and is up by ten percent in sales.

As USA Today reports, Adam Lambert's single sold 29,000 copies, and that brings the song up by 10 percent. Carrie Underwood was down by 6 percent with 39,000 sales.

With an album that continues to do well, and a concert tour that continues to sell-out venues, it makes one wonder if there will be another single to be released from the singer's first album. He has already confirmed that 2011 will see the performer working on his sophomore project, but due to the ever-increasing success of the first project.

Allison Iraheta visits Kiss-FM Seattle

Allison visited Seattle’s 106.1 KISS FM What’s New What’s Next studio to chat and perform her new single Don’t waste the pretty.

Check out her interview below!

Stunning Don’t Waste The Pretty!

Allison Iraheta talks beauty, fitness, singing, and how she connects with her fans

Allison Iraheta was a fan favorite on the 8th season of American Idol. Since then, she's released an album and started living her dream of being a successful artist. In this interview, the humble artist talks about her beauty and fitness regimen, and of course, how she's living her dream!

What beauty products do you use on a regular basis?

Allison: I use MAC powder foundation and my liquid foundation is oil-free Lorac. I need oil-free since my skin is way oily already, and I have to use it because I sweat like crazy also. MAC eyeliner, MAC lipstick in "Diva," I love dark, burgundy-ish, bloody color. *laughs* My blush as well is MAC. I'm a MAC girl. I also use Lancome mascara. I love lashes.

Do you have any favorite skin cleansers or moisturizer?

Allison: I use Neutrogena face wash and makeup remover every night and after I get off stage and my face is all melted off.

What do you use for your hair?

Allison: I use BedHead. I actually use pretty much anything on my hair, which I know is bad since I have so much color in it. I use the red John Frieda color base shampoo for the color. I use a lot of dry shampoo too since I can't wash my hair every day. It's my savior. I have oily hair, so it lifts up all the oils and makes it look clean, which is isn't. *laughs*

What is your fitness regimen like?

Allison: Lately, I've been doing a 45-minute workout every morning with my tour manager and my bass player. If we don't have a gym, we do stairs. She kicks our butt though. We do sets of sit-ups and crazy jumping jacks. I also run and sing at the same time in the mornings. It's hard.

When it came to American Idol, did you decide to audition or did someone have to convince you?

Allison: I'd been watching the show since I was around 9, and I really loved the idea of being able to sing in front of people and the opportunities to meet people like Madonna, Paula Abdul, Slash and Cyndi Lauper and stuff. Just getting those opportunities. I was a really big fan since it came out. When I was 16, I was like, "I'm gonna do it!" I did not think it was fair to wait. I was like, "I wanna go now!" *laughs*

How has life been since then?

Allison: It's been a whirlwind. It's been so crazy and amazing. I'm living my dream, I released an album. I've worked with top writers, I've traveled, I've sung in front of thousands of people in arenas. I've pretty much done everything I've wanted to do. Now that I've gotten past that goal, my next goal is to headline my own tour. Write more of my music, maybe write for other people. Collaborate with more artists. It's been amazing, it's opened so many doors. I'm so grateful for where I am.

You're so young, and you've already achieved pretty much everything you've ever wanted. Do you ever think "what now?" Do you have any other goals?

Allison: This is what I feel like I was born to do. I've definitely thought about the Plan B, something to fall back on. So school, for sure. Yes. And also, even if this doesn't work out, the writing or working in the music somehow. The music industry is so big. Where I am right now, I feel like I have a chance at really making it.

What do you do on your downtime?

Allison: I've been reading lately. I write, a lot. And I sleep. Because I rarely sleep.

How is the tour with Adam Lambert going?

Allison: Amazing. The crowd is incredible. I'm able to be on the road with my boy again. And now, sharing the stage with Orianthi is amazing. Coming out to do "Don't Waste the Pretty" with her, and everyone goes crazy. It's been amazing getting to do all of this.

Who is your dream collaborator?

Allison: Pink. Even her old stuff, what I grew up on. I'm a big fan of her music and the way she performs.

Have you ever been compared to Janis Joplin?

Allison: Yes, I get that a lot. *laughs* She's another artist I grew up listening to and I look up to so much because of the way she performs and sings. It's not choreographed and it's so natural. Every performance was 100 percent her.

Are you into social networking?

Allison: I haven't been on Twitter that much, and I miss connecting with the fans. Actually, I'm going to go on a Twitter party today. I love Twitter. I thinks it's the only way for me. It's the best way to communicate. So easy. I don't Facebook and I don't do MySpace. There are official ones for me, but I don't handle those. I do handle my Twitter, though.

Would you like to send a personal message to your fans?

Allison: Yes. It's always going to be thank you, so much, to all of my fans that have been with me through the whole ride. Thank you so much, and I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you.

Adam Lambert climbs back to #2 on VH1 Countdown

After seeing his reign at #1 on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown come to an end last week, Adam Lambert is heading back in the right direction -- up. On Saturday's new edition of the chart, "If I Had You" is now sitting in the #2 spot.

As usual, the main contributors for Adam's chart success are the devoted fans online who vote on a daily basis. He also gets some support from casual listeners who enjoy the song, but the main driving force behind artists on the VH1 countdown is the size of an artist's fan base. Lucky for Adam, he has one of the most devoted groups out there.

Adam has been performing lately in San Francisco as a part of his Glam Nation Tour. Check out a video of him performing "Fever" below, and feel free to share how you plan to help get Adam back on top next week.

Lady GaGa: “I wrote a #1 record in Cleveland”

When Lady Gaga took the stage at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday night, she managed not to discuss the town’s recently departed superstar LeBron James. But she did announce to the sold-out crowd that earlier in the day, she had written a brand-new song that was destined to be a hit.

“I wrote a #1 record in Cleveland,” she told her throngs of little monsters, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer, adding that she had skipped a private tour of the city’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to work on the song in her tour bus recording studio.

Earlier in the day, she took to her Twitter account to proclaim the same thing, writing, “Emerging from studio coma. Voted no visit to RockNRoll Hall of Fame, rather write a hit that puts me in it.”

Gaga didn’t actually play the song in question, but she did rip through a rousing version of “You and I,” the new song she premiered at Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball last month and has been performing at Monster Ball stops ever since. In theory, it’s all leading up to Gaga’s much-anticipated new album, which, according to a recent Rolling Stone interview, is totally finished but won’t be released until “early next year.”

Gaga also told the magazine that she plans on getting the title of the album tattooed on her body and then releasing the photo at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Lady GaGa Charity Lipstick ‘Most Popular’

Lady GaGa may have denied that she is bringing out her own perfume but the Poker Face singer has now launched her own charity lipstick.

Her Viva Glam GaGa pink lippy which is produced by cosmetic brand MAC, is raising money for the MAC Aids Fund with all profits and sales of the £12.50 lipstick going to the charity. Despite there being 7 shades of the Viva Glam range, GaGa’s lipstick is proving to be the most popular, with MAC chief executive Nancy Mahon claiming: “It’s all about being glamorous and having fun but also helping a very good cause.”

Meanwhile in other Lady G news, the Alejandro singer has demanded that crate-loads of her favourite drink, Neuro Trim follow her around on tour. The drink, which is a favourite with Kelly Osbourne and Kate Hudson is said to be the latest diet craze to sweep the US and GaGa seems to have jumped on board with her fellow A-listers.

A source told The Mirror: “All these sexy American women have been knocking it back.” They added: “It apparently contains a magical Japanese ingredient which curbs the appetite. GaGa is a convert. Her rider is just this Neuro stuff, teabags and fresh veg.”

Adam Lambert's Favourite Things

The American Idol runner-up, 28 years, loves whiskey, Mexico and twitter.

REAL FOOD DAILY: This is my favorite restaurant in LA. Serves only natural and is absolutely delicious. I'm not really a vegetarian, but I love my beans and anything healthy. Salads are pretty tasty and I always feel good when I eat lunch or dine there. I love healthy food. I love a hamburger once in a while, but nothing beats a good salad.

THE HUNGER GAMES: This book is incredible. It is a science fiction story by Suzanne Collins and I was glued from start to finish. The plot is thrilling and Development of the characters is amazing. I love a book in which you can "lose" and this is definitely one of them.

MICHAEL JACKSON: Michael is my inspiration and my favorite artist of all time. Thriller is an absolute classic. You will not go wrong with it. I love the spoken parts at the end and the clothes in the video are amazing. I love to do a video like this one day. It is the most incredible piece of music.

MEXICO: I've spent a vacation there a few months ago with some friends and we had fun. We stayed at a place called Cape San Lucas, near the coast and we love. The weather was perfect and, most importantly, the tequila was great. Us until we put in our coffee in the morning. That's what I call a breakfast.

TRUE BLOOD: This is a great show. I watched the third episode of season three the other day and I was totally stuck. I love the characters, plots and the fact of being bold and unafraid to push the limits. And it is very sensual.

TWITTER: Twitter is amazing to me because it means I can stay in touch with my fans. Czech me almost every day and update whenever I can. It also allows me to deny rumors that may appear, which makes life much easier for those who live under the eyes of the public.

Julianne Moore: She's my favorite actress. She is absolutely perfect and I could watch her in anything. She acted in some of my favorite films as Boogie Nights and The Single Man She is beautiful without making any effort which is great for film.

WHISKEY: Whiskey is my favorite alcoholic beverage. I love the rocks or with a little tonic. The Jameson Irish Whiskey is what I normally take, because I love the taste, but I'm not so snobbish. It's great to drink when you go out at night because it is not as heavy as beer.

The single from Adam, Whataya Want From Me and their album, For Your Entertainment, are on sale now.

Adam Lambert to be featured on MuchMusic special

Adam Lambert is getting a brand new TV special, and it shouldn't be any surprise that it's coming from our friends north of a border. According to a new report from Rockstar Weekly, the "American Idol" singer will be featured on the MuchMusic program "Born to Be Me" August 19 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The show focuses on singers and how they rise to their level of superstardom, including some of their influences and personal stories. Proof that Adam is in good company comes when you see some of the other people the show has highlighted -- from Ke$ha to Drake to Katy Perry (who has dominated the music charts much of the summer).

Canada has been extremely supportive of Adam's music, as evidenced by the fact that "If I Had You" is currently at #10 on the nation's Hot 100.

Lady Gaga to be the new face of tea?

A number of tea companies are reportedly in a bidding war to sign up Lady Gaga to promote the drink.

According to the Sun, Gaga is a big fan of tea and now has several major tea makers clamouring for her signature.

However, English brand Twinings is thought to be winning the race to sign up the Alejandro star.

The company has made a multi-million pound offer to have the singer put her name to a new line of teas.

A source told the news provider: “Her management have received a load of offers from major tea companies but Twinings are the front-runners.

“They want to launch a new tea with her face on it and discussions are taking place at the top level.”

The Taste of Gaga has been one of the names mooted as a possibility for the new product, the source added.

Lady Gaga is currently on a world tour will see her play a number of UK gigs later this year, starting at Odyssey in Belfast on October 30th.

Adam Lambert to have Allison Iraheta for rest of U.S. tour

Adam Lambert's Glam Nation Tour has been an immense success so far throughout the United States, and fans are getting plenty of good news for the remainder of the dates on his schedule up to the end of September.

In a new release from 19 Entertainment, it has been announced that Allison Iraheta will be joining her former fellow "American Idol" contestant on the remainder of his North American Tour. It was originally planned that she would leave near the end of the month, and Orianthi would carry the show the rest of the way as an opening act.

Now, Adam will have a full show for even more of his concerts around the country. There's no word yet on if Allison will take part in any of the international touring dates, which will see glam strutting its stuff in Europe, Australia, and Asia.

When will Adam Lambert finally get some time to rest and relax? The "American Idol" singer gave a radio interview in Denver (which you can hear below), and in it he said that the Glam Nation Tour will officially continue all the way until December. This tour will extend overseas this fall to the United Kingdom, Australia, and other parts of Europe and Asia -- there are some specific countries that will receive concerts, but we don't know the specifics just yet.

So what will be the first thing Adam does following the tour? The "If I Had You" singer claims that he just wants to "go on vacation" in a tropical island for a week, have a few drinks, and just unwind following so much of the craziness.

Even if this vacation may be a long while off, Adam still gets the opportunity to spend the next few months celebrating and doing something he loves -- making great music to entertain the masses.

Lady Gaga Reaches Five Million Twitter Followers

Here’s What Lady Gaga’s 5 Million Twitter Fans Look Like » MTV Buzzworthy Blog

From queens, quarterbacks and valedictorians all probably operate under the assumption that they're popular. Guess what, kids: SLOW YOUR ROLL! You are not popular. Lady Gaga is popular. She JUST surpassed more than 5 million followers on Twitter. That's probably no bigs if you're "aplusk," (Ashton Kutcher, who's been at 5 million for a while now). But 5 million Twitter followers is approximately (as of today), 1.1 million more than Justin Bieber's Twitter followers, and we all know Bieber pretty much owns the internet.

Adam Lambert celebrates fourth week at #1 on 'MM Top 10'

Although Adam Lambert may have slipped below Katy Perry's "California Gurls" on VH1's Top 20 Countdown, the "American Idol" singer is still getting plenty of support north of the border.

For the fourth straight week, Adam's "If I Had You" is sitting pretty at the #1 spot on MuchMore's "MM Top 10". The fans over at Adam Official have created a diligent voting campaign, and so far it has worked to keep songs such as "California Gurls" at bay.

This top position is once again a reflection of Adam's performance in Canada, where his chart positions have typically been higher than here in the States. He has received more airplay in the country, and is also selling more copies digitally.

Message From Lady GaGa To Little Monsters

At the risk of drawing attention to a hateful organization, I would like to make my little monster fan aware of a protest being held outside the Monsterball in St.Louis tonight. Although we have had protesters before, as well as fundamentalists at the show this group of protesters are hate criminals and preach using lude and violent language and imagery that I wish I protect you all from.

Their message is of hatred and divisiveness, but inside at the Monsterball we preach love and unity. My request to all little monsters and public authority is to pay these hate criminals no mind. Do not interact with them, or try to fight Do not respond to any of their provocation. Don’t waste your words, or feelings, no matter what you hear or see you are more fortunate and blessed than they are, and in your heart just pray for them. Although I respect and do not judge anyone for their personal views on any politics or religion, this group in particular to me, is violent and dangerous I wanted to make my fans aware of my views on how to approach, or rather not approach, these kinds of hate activists.

Be inspired to ignore their ignorant message, and feel gratitude in your heart that you are not burdened or addicted to hate, as they are. X

The above paragraphs are Lady GaGa’s latest tweets into one, please read carefully, especially if you are going to her show tonight in St. Louis.
